Moon in Pisces

(outside) Rain
Drops

I get it
the falling
the rounding
the crashlanding
with hard ground
and yet that’s exactly
what it’s supposed to do

(fall to fall again
from cloud to land)

The clash into
A wider version
of itself A fanned out
Existence
(the split second of)
Contact with real
Life It’s really all about
Being able to accept
the impact of one’s self

Water flows freely
even when it falls
tender or rough
With a thunder
Or a moan

(I hear the waterfall
Niagara
You warn me with rumblings
You can pull me under
And I’ll swallow til I drown)

I trace them
on you
The drops the salty ones
the sweet ones the hot
and heavy
Ones I can’t decide whether
To swim into
Or swallow you

Rain
DropLets
Fall

You catch them all
the cold ones
the hard and heavy ones
cleansing my soul

I can’t choose
not to be water
anymore.
