kaya vs. the world

I write poems.

hold me (not your breath)

Sunshine

your smile has gone
it’s too grey here
too much rain dear
the tides are rising
I know you can’t swim

Oh darling

I wish you never had to learn
how to breathe
when your lungs
fill with

salt and water.

KH.
